RESPITE CARE is a non-goal-based service that gives primary caregivers a break to complete activities that they need to, without having to worry about their loved one. Respite services provide trained staff on a short-term basis to support participants while the primary caregiver is unavailable. Respite services are typically provided in the family’s home but may also take place in a community setting.
